The resurgence of the Lotto Geek continued last week, putting the truly horrendous start he endured in the 49’s prediction game behind him. But did he continue to rein in the Lotto Guru last week, or did the Guru once again return to winning ways?

Last Week’s 49’s Results & Predictions Round-Up

The Lotto Guru remained unflustered despite three consecutive defeats, again taking a celebrity birthday and sporting influence for her predictions, which were: 4 – 15 – 21 – 26 – 30 – 43.

Likewise, the Geek – full of renewed hope and confidence – continued with his “most overdue numbers” theory, leading him to pick 5 – 16 – 22 – 32 – 34 – 40.

As always, though, there can only be one winner… so let’s check out last week’s 49’s winning lunchtime numbers to see who came out on top in week nine.

This Week’s Lunchtime 49’s Predictions

What the Lotto Guru Says:

I suppose the Geek had to get lucky at some point. All good things come to an end, Geek. You’ll see.

As Arnold Schwarzenegger would say, “I’ll be back”, and you better believe I will be. It’s only fitting, too, that Arnie will be celebrating his birthday on 30 July. I’ll also be making sure that 13 is a very, very unlucky number for the Geek this week.

The footy’s also nearly back and I can’t wait. Last season’s 1 v 2 (Man City v Liverpool) meet in the Community Shield on Sunday, but I’m interested to see whether the Reds can win the title for a 16th time.

I’ll be pulling away from the Geek once again by making it 6 winning weeks this week. Don’t you worry.
