Surprise Presenter!

Those of you that watched the 49’s draw this Monday would have noticed a new presenter - Jochen. This certainly caused a stir on social media with several 49’s fans commenting that they didn’t recognise this person and why wasn’t there some sort of formal introduction? However, the reason for this was that Tony was taken ill at the last minute so Jochen - who’s usually the voice-over for 49’s draws - took over. Since our last 49’s Update there have been several changes and new features added to the 49’s official game website. One of our favourites is the ‘Off Air’ section on their website - this is where the 49's Presenters share a bit more information about themselves and the 49’s numbers game.

Safer Gambling Week is a campaign that is organised across the gambling industry, including operators and responsible gambling charities, and aims to promote safe gambling practices. The week-long event focuses on raising awareness about the potential risks of gambling, encouraging gamblers to keep their habits in check, and providing information on how and where to obtain help if gambling starts to become a problem.

The 49's is currently offered by seven different bookmakers in the UK - each of these bookmakers have their own lotto betting sections that feature a variety of lotteries - 49's, Irish, Nifty Fifty, etc. However, somewhat confusingly, these lotto betting sections vary wildy between bookmakers - some offer more lotteries, some offer less lotteries, some feature results and some don't.

At the time of writing, William Hill and Paddy Power don't feature the 49's results but the remaining bookmakers do.
