New 49's Numbers Features Launched

Here at Bet49s.com we’re always looking for ways to enhance your 49’s betting experience. This week we’ve launched a new feature and given an old feature a bit of a refresh. Let’s take a look…

49’s Number Frequency Checker

We know our users love 49's Hot & Cold balls, however, sometimes it can be hard to find statistics and number frequencies for specific balls. Say your lucky number is 7, but that’s not a Hot or Cold Ball, it can be hard to find the frequency of your lucky number 7. That’s where our new page 49's Number Frequency comes in. You can easily select your time period and then select whether you want to see them ordered by drawn frequency or by numerical order - order by numerical to easily find a specific number. At this point, you can also select whether you want to see draw frequency from the Lunchtime, Teatime or both draws.

Then, we show you number of times each number has been drawn and this as a percentage of the total draws.

You can see some fascinating results when you start to use the tool, for example, for the previous year (remember, these stats change all the time...), the number 49 is the most drawn number across both draws, appearing a whopping 124 times. However, interestingly, the number 49 has appeared much more often in the Teatime draw (70 times) than the Lunchtime draw (54 times). In fact, in the Lunchtime draw for the past year, the number 49 is only the 19th most drawn ball, whereas in the Teatime draw the number 49 is the most drawn ball!

Of course, as with Hot & Cold balls, we always like to remind our users that statistically speaking, any number has an equal chance of being drawn as any other. Regardless of draw or number frequency.

Number Generator

We have also recently given our Number Generator a bit of a refresh. This is a page where you can use our random number generator to get numbers for you - for those of you that prefer a random choice rather than trying to follow any sort of pattern.

Among some lottery bettors, it’s often a preferred choice to use a set of random numbers than personal numbers to you (e.g. birthdays, anniversaries, lucky numbers, etc) as you can end up ‘tied’ to these numbers - i.e. if your birthday is 14/05/78 so you always decide to bet on 14, 5, 7, 8. If you happen to miss out on betting on a draw and these numbers come up you will be very disappointed!
