The Switch: Emma & Helen

Emma is a face you all know very well and she’s part of the 49’s family for many. But now it’s time for her to embark on a US adventure. We will surely miss her fun-loving personality!

Luckily, Helen Longman was ready to step into Emma’s shoes. Yes, you’ve seen her helping with the occasional draw in the past. But now she’ll be a regular 49’s face and we’re loving the energy she’s bringing into the studio.

Gorgeous Mom Gina

If you’re wondering why you haven’t seen Gina Whitaker around, it’s because this stunning lady did the amazing thing of bringing a little life into this world. Yes, Gina took a break from 49’s in October and is now a proud mom! But she came back from maternity leave at the start of this month and it’s great to have her smile back in action.

Harriet and Her Winning Horse

The presenters hope to create lots of winners twice a day, and they also use some of that luck for themselves. Harriet had a virtual horse take part at Portman Park and it won!

Did Sophie Drop the Cake?

There are huge celebrations because of 49’s celebrating 25 years of draws. So, from hanging Christmas baubles to eating bright blue cakes, the presenters have had fun celebrating. But you don’t want to be the one dropping the cake—which explains Sophie’s expression when she was handed a celebratory confectionary.

Tony Giving Us Tips on Mental Health

February is all about love, and Tony’s recent post reminded us to care for those around us. Whether it’s Christmas or Valentine’s Day, not everyone has it easy during seasons focused on relationships. It can make someone feel especially lonely and even cause mental health issues.
