The Lotto Guru wreaked havoc over the Lotto Geek in the first two weeks of their lunchtime 49’s lotto predictions, following up an opening week score of 8-4 by an equally impressive 7-3 victory in week two.

Surely the Lotto Geek is going to turn it around with his magical lottery formulas at some point though... no?

Last Week’s 49’s Results & Predictions Round-Up

The Lotto Guru followed their gut last week and came up with their numbers based on the week’s big events and celebrity birthdays. This led the Guru to the numbers 2 – 4 – 13 – 16 – 27 – 32 for their 49’s predictions for week three.

But the Lotto Geek, and you’ve got to respect the confidence, decided to stick with their overdue numbers system, despite a catastrophic start to prediction life. The Geek hoped 2 - 8 – 14 - 24 – 32 – 41 would see a change of fortunes.

We can scarcely believe it, but it was yet another landslide – the biggest yet in fact.

With a remarkable 9 correct numbers, last week’s predictions winner was… the Lotto Guru AGAIN!

It's another humiliation for the so-called Lotto Geek, so only managed a meagre 3 correct predictions. Indeed, it means over the first three weeks of this predictions head-to-head, the Guru is battering the Geek 24-10 in total correct predictions.

13 proved to be the lucky number for the Guru last week, with the unlikely figure appearing on no less than three occasions!

This Week’s Lunchtime 49’s Predictions

This is getting embarrassing. I feel kind of bad even gloating anymore.

Geek... maybe it’s time to go back to school? Your numbers just aren’t adding up.

I’m gonna stick to the big events and birthdays of the week – they’ve served me well so far. So, let’s set up another drubbing...

The number 4 ranked team in the world, England, have made a sterling start to the Women’s World Cup and are set to enter the final 16 from next Saturday’s. Let’s hope the Lionesses go all the way, although it’s hard to see past 3-time champions, the USA.

There are some absolute star birthdays this week, with Chris Pratt celebrating turning 40 on Friday, while legends Paul McCartney and Meryl Streep will surely be having massive parties on the 18 and 22 June.

So, my lunchtime 49’s predictions for this week are:

What is happening? How can this be?

How can my impenetrable algorithm be beaten by this wishy-washy nonsense week-after-week!?

It must be a fluke. Well… three consecutive flukes. But bad things happen in threes, right? Urgh, I’m starting to sound like that idiotic Guru.

But Maths will always prevail. And that’s why I’m sticking to these least commonly drawn 49’s numbers this week:
